Bryd is Spyderco’s budget line of knives. The knives are contracted out to a Chinese knife manufacturer. Many claim that Sanrenmu is the primary knife manufacturer for Spyderco, but Ganzo may also be their manufacturer.
The Meadowlark 2 is a copy of Spyderco Delica 4 with a few tweaks and the addition of pronounced choil jimping. The spine also has jimping to assist with precision control during tasks like feather sticking.
It features a full-flat grind which is an option on some Delica 4 models.
The Fiberglass-reinforced Nylon (FRN) handle has a bi-directional texture for increased control and grip.
Like the Delica 4 it has a four-position clip that supports all possible carry positions.
The 8Cr13MoV is made by Ahonest Cangjiang in China. It is a good budget steel and is used primarily by Spyderco, Kershaw and SOG.
